Undisputed AAC Football Champions

At the beginning of the season we were predicted by the so-called "experts" to finish behind at least three other teams in the conference. The conference championship was already being handed to the louisville cardinals before a down had been played. Well I guess the prognosticators really did not do their homework on the over-achieving team from the East side of Orlando Florida. In their defense I knew we would be a top team but was not completely sure of how our young defense would hold up through the length of the season. Well we played well enough to win eleven out of twelve games games and that is no fluke. Yes we had our struggles throughout the season (Memphis, Temple),some of the "biggest wins in program history (Penn State, Louisville) and even stood toe to toe with one of the best teams in the SEC (South Carolina). Great teams find ways to win and that is what we did on more than one occasion giving us the most memorable season in our young programs history. Guess we better start building another trophy case.
