Two weeks in a row we proved we are a good team despite losing the best quarterback in our young programs history to the NFL (no disrespect Duante). We have not yet found our mojo on offense this year although Justin did a pretty good job Thursday night (except for a couple of mistakes) given that our offense was reduced to one dimension by our lack of a running game against a tough BYU run defense. I think our defense got a little loose in the middle of the game especially at the start of the second half but they had their backs against the wall after two unfortunate turnovers. They did really well towards the end of the game when we needed it by stopping the BYU offense. Hopefully we can find something resembling a running game when we play again at home against Tulane. That would take a lot of pressure off our young signal caller. This is without a doubt a win we needed to help us keep some of the respectability that we earned last year. The star of the game in my opinion was without a doubt was Terrance Plummer who had a career defining game against the visiting BYU Cougars.

And let's not forget...the Last Play of the Game Win against Houston II.
What an ending! The Houston backup quarterback was diving for the end zone with 24 seconds left in the game and Brandon Alexander knocked the ball of his hand before the ball crosses the goal line that ends up being a touchback, Knights Ball, and game over. Except for a couple of big passing plays our offense did not play that well against the Houston Cougars. Our defense kept us in the game by keeping the home team out of the end zone for 60 minutes.
And as always....
