Let's go Knights baseball, in the NCAA tournament for the first time in a few years and playing good ball lately. Friday is the first game at noon against an Alabama team we punked at their home early in the season 12 - 4.
OK, not too much to cheer about in our first regional in seven years. It seems we had a little trouble pitching to the Alabama squad who was not billed as a real offensive threat. Maybe it was nerves that did us in. All in all I feel that it was still a pretty solid season which included a sweep of both Stetson and UF along with numerous wins against some top 25 programs. Would give up the sweep of Stetson and UF for a sweep of the cows though (we split home and home with them).
